German Science and Innovation—Southwest Road Show

Germany is a powerhouse in science and innovation and a leader in research—ranking fourth worldwide in R&D spending. The diversity of the German research and innovation system is the basis for its success.

Representatives from the German Embassy, American Friends of AvH, the German Research Foundation, and the German Academic Exchange Service will visit the Southwestern United States in April for the “German Science and Innovation—On the Road Again in 2025; State of the Art and New Perspectives: German-US Collaboration” road show. They will present the strengths and prospects for the German research and innovation system as well as the university system in the current transatlantic environment. Germany is a leading site for research, education, and innovation in the United States and the events planned for the week-long visit will highlight the many possibilities for scientific cooperation and student exchange.

We will host symposia on the different campuses we visit, as well as receptions to bring together Humboldtians. We hope you can join us at one of these events (we will update the details on this page as soon as they become available):
