American Friends 25th Anniversary: New Perspectives on Humboldt Lecture Series

As part of our 25th anniversary celebration in 2024–2025, American Friends of the Alexander von Humboldt Foundation is launching a “New Perspectives on Humboldt” event series to showcase the relevance of Alexander von Humboldt’s legacy for tackling today’s most critical global issues. The hybrid events will feature Humboldt experts who will provide fresh perspectives on the historical figure, his work, and his achievements, spotlighting aspects of Humboldt’s legacy that are not well known but will appeal to Humboldt experts and newcomers alike.
