Alumni Council US Engagement Awards
Summary
The Alumni Council provides small grants to US Humboldtians to support events that connect alumni and/or recruit the next generation of Humboldtians. Funds can be used as seed money to obtain funding for larger events, to supplement already funded events, or to support wide-ranging self-contained activities that enhance the intellectual and social interaction among Humboldtians in the United States.
Applicants are encouraged to review the full Alumni Council US Engagement Award Guidelines prior to submitting a proposal.
Alumni grants typically range from a few hundred to a few thousand dollars. Approximately $8,000 per year will be available to fund proposals.
Proposals are accepted on a rolling basis, but should be submitted at least 8 weeks before the proposed event. The Alumni Council will make a funding decision within one month of submission. Grantees are required to submit a brief summary report to American Friends after the event.
